Great Deals at Fat Fish

Yes, the sign alone was enough to lure us in to Fat Fish, located in the Golden Zone on Cameron Sabalo. 2 for $160 pesos Ribeye, Ribs or Shrimp, and 2 for one happy hour. We ordered 2 Ribeye steaks, one order of ribs and one order of shrimp. The meats were cooked on an open grill in the outdoor dining area. While we drooled at our meat being prepared, the waiter served a small house salad to each of us.





It came with ranch dressing, I guess that was the only option. We ordered margaritas for us, and a virgin pina colada for the brat. Lesson learned, order all your drinks up front or you will be waiting a long time for your free one. Food came to the table relatively fast. Steaks were cooked to order, a nice rack of BBQ ribs, and the six shrimp was breaded and fried with tarter sauce. All had a baked potato, coleslaw and a piece of garlic bread.






Overall, for the price, it was a good meal. Service was slow, they seemed to get overwhelmed when it got busy full of touristas. Food was good though, definitely worthwhile.
